With a holistic approach to her craft, Chereine seamlessly transitions between beauty, commercial, TV, runway, and editorial work. She collaborates with esteemed professionals in the hair, fashion, and beauty industries, and her work has been featured in renowned publications such as Elle China, Vogue Italia, In Style, Culture, Oyster, Peppermint, Black, Laud, The Journal, Lucy, Pap, Factice, Vulkan, Rebel, Schön, and many more.
Chereine's impressive portfolio includes diverse commercial clients such as Walt Disney, QVB, AFL, Natural History Museum, Sydney Film Festival, Afterpay, Mercedes, Merivale, Belvedere, W Hotels, Salvation Army, Sweat, NSW Fire and Rescue, Adobe, LG, and Aldi. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Chereine is a dedicated advocate for sharing knowledge and has played an important role in education throughout her career. Over the past 12 years, she has served as a Make-Up Educator in various private and public makeup colleges, mentoring aspiring artists and nurturing the next generation of talent. She frequently collaborates with esteemed education clients, including International Makeup Lovers, Studio 10, TAFE NSW, Pedestrian TV, Secret Fox Education, Beauty Expo, and The Show Sydney.
Chereine has been deeply involved in the industry from multiple perspectives. She has served as the Beauty Editor for the reputable Laud magazine and, more recently, as the Online Editor for Mocha Group, regularly contributing to Hair and Beauty Biz magazine. Her involvement extends to judging creative and business categories in prestigious industry awards. Through these various roles, she has orchestrated captivating editorials and conducted interviews with both local and international industry icons, further solidifying her impact and influence in the industry.
In 2021 UK publishing house Austin McCauley published Chereine’s first coffee table book entitled Beyond The Face, a highly personal anecdote presenting a creative catalogue of over 60 makeup images, accompanied by personal inspirational stimulus. Beyond The Face is available at chereinewaddell.com, where she has also released her first collection of online educational makeup videos, suited to the novice or the pro wanting to learn or upskill in makeup for photography.
Based in Sydney, Chereine resides with her husband, Jarred Stedman, and their pug, Popsicle.
